Does the Suction Cup Bib work on every surface?The Suction Cup Bib works best on smooth, non-porous surfaces where an airtight seal can be formed — like plastic, polished tile, marble, glass, quartz, stainless steel, or smooth laminated and artificial wood tops. Even on slightly uneven surfaces, the two suction cups often still hold as long as the area under each cup can create a seal.
While uneven surfaces such as concrete, fabrics, textured tile, and reclaimed wood will not work with suction cups, the bib should still stay put. Its weight, combined with a plate or food on top, usually provides plenty of stability — so your child’s mealtime still stays clean and under control, even without perfect suction.

As long as your child’s eating surface is roughly 12 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and is smooth, the Suction Cup Bib will hold securely. Even if the tray is slightly smaller, it will still stick in place.The bib might not sit perfectly flush on all edges, but that’s by design. The bib is flexible so it can adapt to different trays.

You can let it air dry on a drying rack—or, if you’re feeling clever, suction it to your backsplash and let it drip dry straight into the sink!
On the go? Just shake off any leftover food, fold it up, and pop it back in the pouch until you can give it a proper wash later. Simple, quick, and mess-free.

The Suction Cup Bib measures 14″ wide by 21″ from the front edge to the furthest part of the neck attachment when laying perfectly flat. When folded up, it measures approximately 7″ x 6″ and 1.5″ thick.

What are some best practices for making the Suction Cup Bib work as well as possible?Great question! While the Suction Cup Bib is designed to be simple and easy to use, following a few “best practices” can help maximize its performance and longevity.
1. Keep it clean. Before each use, ensure the bib is free of debris, food, or dried liquids—especially around the suction cups. Even small bits of food can prevent a strong seal from forming, which is key to the bib working properly.
2. Position it correctly. For optimal function, the eating surface should be lower than your child’s chin or neck. The bib is designed to create a gentle ramp, guiding food and liquids toward the table. If your child’s highchair is too low compared to the tabletop, the bib may tilt toward them instead, and reduce the bib’s effectiveness. Adjusting the highchair height, using a booster seat, or removing your highchair’s snap-on table cover usually resolves most height-related issues.
3. Care and storage. After each use, clean and inspect the bib carefully. Silicone is highly durable, but prolonged exposure to extreme heat, cold, or direct sunlight can weaken the material. If you notice any damage, recycle the bib immediately.
4. Safety first. Never leave your child unattended while using the Suction Cup Bib. It is a feeding accessory, not a toy, and should never be attached while your child is walking, crawling, or sleeping.
