One Messy Day
Every great product starts with a simple problem. For us, it was the daily chaos of trying to keep our son, Hudson, clean during mealtime. What began as one tired parent’s frustration turned into a mission to make life a little easier for families everywhere.
Like so many parents, we were exhausted by the constant cleanup after every meal. Those “catch-all” bibs seemed brilliant—until we realized most of the food still ended up in Hudson’s lap or on the floor. After every breakfast or dinner, I faced two options: laundry duty or mopping duty. Already running on little sleep, I knew there had to be a better way to handle our son’s mealtime adventures.
Then one morning, during yet another oatmeal explosion, the idea clicked: What if the bib and the placemat were the same thing? And what if it actually stayed in place? That idea became an obsession and set off months of late-night sketches, experiments, and dozens of suction cup prototypes scattered around our kitchen.
After nearly two years of testing, tweaking, and mealtime chaos, we finally found the perfect solution.

From Idea to Innovation
The first prototype was rough – just a a thin piece of silicone with two suction cups attached. But the concept worked! Now we have perfected the design and made it available for all parents of messy eaters!
